Arlys Einerson

Arlys Einerson, 83 of Fargo, formerly of rural Clitherall died Monday, September 11, 2017, at Essentia Health in Fargo.

Arlys Ardell Einerson was born on July 17, 1934, in Clarkfield, Minnesota the daughter of Theodore and Gunhild (Anderson) Trandahl.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and graduated from the Montevideo High School in 1952.

Arlys and Jerald Einerson were married on December 6, 1952, and moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming.  She was employed as a secretary with the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission from 1956 to 1960.  In 1963, they returned to Montevideo, purchasing a farm near Watson, where they raised corn and soybeans.  Arlys also worked as a receptionist for Prindle, Maland and Stennes Law Office from December of 1963 to November of 1975.  In March of 1976, she started with Chippewa County as a Deputy Clerk of Court and on July 15, 1985, began as Deputy Court Administrator for the State of Minnesota in Chippewa County.  She retired on July 9, 1997, when they moved to their home on Clitherall Lake.  Arlys enjoyed gardening, fishing, golfing, travelling, trading recipes with neighbors and thoroughly loved attending her grandchildren’s activities.  She was a member of the Eagle Lake Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two children, Jeffrey Einerson of Clitherall and Jennifer (Chris) Kankelfritz of Fargo; three grandchildren, Jessica (Rick) Dorn, Vanessa, Cristian, Xavier and Isabelle of Vining, Natalie (Matthew) Schofield and Bennett of Plymouth and Jacob Einerson of Los Angeles, Ca.; two sisters, Gloria Prystal of Champlin and Gayla (Jon) Riendeau of Oxnard, Ca.; two brothers, Arden (Sue) Trandahl and Dale (Cindy) Trandahl both of Willmar; and by numerous relatives and friends.  Arlys was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald on May 30, 2011, and by her parents, Theodore and Gunhild Trandahl.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Friday, September 15, 2017, at Eagle Lake Lutheran Church of rural Battle Lake.

Visitation: one hour prior to the service.

Interment: Eagle Lake Lutheran Cemetery
