Carolyn Frances (Christensen) Boe

Carolyn F. Boe, 83, of Peoria, Arizona passed peacefully on February 25, 2021 at Hospice of the Valley in Surprise, Arizona.

Carolyn was born in Columbia, Kentucky, March 27th, 1937, the daughter of Holger and Lillie (Harmon) Christensen. She was raised in Ashby, graduating from Ashby High School. While in Minnesota, Carolyn worked for several years with her husband, Stan in their plumbing shop “Christensen Supply”. After Stan’s passing, she moved to Peoria, AZ, where she cherished spending time with family, especially her grandkids. Carolyn loved spending time with friends, whether it was out on a lunch date, Friday night bingo, and or an occasional trip to Laughlin where she had many good laughs.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammie Hintz (Steve) of Peoria, Arizona; son, Todd Boe (Lisa) of Ontario, New York; grandkids, Justin Hintz (Kelly), Lindsey Sanborn (Ryan), Sara Preston (Kyle), Katie Doyle (Ty), Jennifer Boe, and Michael Boe; and six great grandkids, Kayd Hintz, Jaxson Sanborn, Skylar Hintz, Jayden Sanborn, Rylee Preston and Mariana Doyle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Holger & Lillie Christensen; husband, Stanley Boe; daughter, Mary Boe and sister, Charline Holtberg.

There will be a private graveside service in June at Pelican Lake Cemetery, Ashby, MN.
