Greg Miletto, 65 of Battle Lake died Thursday, September 26, 2019, at his home.
Gregory Allen Miletto was born on December 15, 1953, by Underwood, Minnesota the son of Floyd Fuder and Audrey Haggstrom. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. Greg attended rural school in Maine Township, then Battle Lake Public School, graduated from Peru High School in Peru, Indiana in 1970, and continued his education for two years at Anoka Technical College, graduating as a Certified Optometrist.
Greg lived in Omaha and then returned to Battle Lake area, where he painted in the Battle Lake and Ottertail City areas for thirty years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, attending black powder festivals and museums, was an avid reader with a large book collection, was big into watching auto racing and enjoyed periodically attending races, and especially enjoyed his family and grandchildren. Greg was a member of Trefoldighed Lutheran Church.
He is survived by three children, Shanan (Dean) Snepp of Topeka, KS, Jesse Miletto of Fergus Falls and Stefanie (Brad) Saunders of Henning; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three siblings, Susan (Terry) Jyrkas of Mountain Lake, Steve (Kay Love) Miletto of Henning and Kurt (Tracy) Gilbertson of Peru, Indiana; and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Memorial Service: 2 PM, Friday, October 4, 2019, at Trefoldighed Lutheran Church of rural Battle Lake with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Interment: Trefoldighed Lutheran Cemetery
