Mary Elsner, 77, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at her residence.
Mary Eloise Elsner was born August 25, 1942 to Charles and Marjorie (Winans) Hebron in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School, attended nursing school and received her LPN licensure.
Mary lived in Fergus Falls, Seattle, Idaho, Wisconsin and back to Minnesota. She was a musician, singer and songwriter, performing as an opener for numerous acts at the Grand Ole Opry. Mary loved her cats.
She is survived by sons, Brian Burau of Fergus Falls, Jim (Betsy) Burau of White Bear Lake and Greg (Ali) Burau of Idaho Falls, Idaho; granddaughter, Mariah Ricke; brother, Jimmy Hebron of West Virginia; nieces, Connie (Bill) Petersen and Sandy Zappa, and numerous relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by parents, Charles and Marjorie; son, Terry Burau and sister, Carol Ringquist.
Memorial Service: Saturday, January 25 at 1 PM at the Fergus Falls Salvation Army Church, with a memorial gathering one hour prior to the service. Light lunch to follow service.
