Abra Ellis, 33, of Amor died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at her residence.
She was born July 15, 1982 in Fridley, MN to Arthur and Denise (Peterson) Ellis. She grew up in Amor and graduated from Battle Lake High School in 2000. Abra enjoyed listening to Reba McIntire, watching and listening to the Minnesota Twins, watching soap operas – especially Days of Our Lives, solving Sudoku puzzles and anything to do with chocolate!
Abra is survived by her parents, Art and Denise Ellis of Amor, her brother, Scott Ellis of Amor, her grandparents, Beverly Ellis of Cambridge and Kenneth Peterson of Two Harbors, aunts and uncles: Cheryl (Don) Maslow, Kathy (Terry) Potrament, Annette (Tom) Stevens, Randy (Dyanna) Peterson, Bryan Peterson and Dale (Tracy) Peterson and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jim Ellis, her grandmother, Carolyn Peterson and her great-grandmother, Ruth Peterson.
