Alta "Penny" Muller, 57, of Foxhome died Friday, June 24, 2011, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
Alta Marie "Penny" Muller was born February 14, 1954, in Fergus Falls to Donald and Gertrude (Miller) Formo. She was baptized and confirmed at Grace United Methodist Church in Fergus Falls and graduated from Fergus Falls High School.
On September 15, 1983, she was united in marriage to Leslie Muller in South Dakota. They have made their home in Foxhome. Penny worked for Rosenblatts in Fergus Falls for 15 years and then worked for Primewood in Wahpteon, ND for 16 years.
She enjoyed camping and working on family genealogy. Spending time with family and arranging family functions and gatherings were very important to her. She was a member of the Foxhome Lutheran Church where she had been a Sunday School teacher and superintendent. She loved children.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie of Foxhome; a son, Daniel Leslie Muller and special friend, Christine Boutiette of Foxhome; sisters, Janet Formo and Janice (Norman) Miller both of Fergus Falls and Jeannette (James) Jorgens of Dalton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Gertrude Formo; mother and father-in-law, Albert H. and Lucille Muller and a sister-in-law, Kathy.
Visitation: Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Foxhome Lutheran Church, Foxhome
