Avah Dirkman, 18 months, Fergus Falls, died Monday, September 28, 2015, at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls, Minnesota
Avah Mae Dirkman was born April 4, 2014 to Brad and Heather (Neuleib) Dirkman in Fergus Falls, MN. She was baptized into God's community at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. In her nearly 18 months of life, Avah enjoyed going for walks, playing in Papa's playhouse, swinging, running and playing in the water, and swimming. She delighted in blowing bubbles and watching them float away. Avah's older sisters and brother enjoyed reading books to her.
The world was Avah's stage where she enjoyed singing and dancing for anyone who would watch! She couldn't wait to get to Grandma and Grandpa's where she would quickly run to the refrigerator and ask for a pop (meaning popsicle). Avah loved her family's dogs, Duke and Daisy. Her favorite breakfast was "strawbears", yogurt and buttered toast. She liked to find anyone's pair of shoes and walk around the house. Avah nearly completed the goal of being "potty trained". She would look forward to her Dad coming home when she would run with open arms to give and receive a big hug.
Avah is survived by her parents, Brad and Heather; brother, Sam; sisters, Emma and Ella; grandparents, Wayne and Verna Dirkman, Jerry and Alice Neuleib; aunts and uncles, Greta (Jason) Miller, Kayla (Troy) Puchalski, Mike Dirkman, Dave (Charity) Dirkman; cousins, Maelee and Miles Miller, Claire Puchalski and Crew Dirkman; numerous relatives and friends.
