Barbara Winslow, 80 of Fergus Falls died Friday, October 5, 2012 at her home under Lakeland Hospice Care.

Barbara June Winslow was born on July 16, 1932 in Vergennes, Illinois the daughter of John and Zoah (Holt) Nausley. She graduated from the Vergennes High School in 1950. Barbara and Edward Doll were married in 1953, Edward died and in 1960 Barb married Richard R. Flake. In Fergus Falls she managed the Highway Host Restaurant for nine years, then worked for the Lake Region Hospital in Dietary for twenty years until her retirement. Barbara enjoyed music, reading, cooking, gardening and playing games with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, Mary (Bill) Grove of Elbow Lake, Jan Fredrickson of Fergus Falls, Richard (Shelley) Flake of Elbow Lake and Jennifer (David) Wegge of Buxton, N.D.; nine grandchildren, Chris (Christina) Alfredson, Billie Jo (Justin) Smith, Shannon (Michelle) Grove, Jessica Fredrickson and Mike, Zachary Fredrickson and Estee, Joshua Fredrickson, Emily, Erin and Shannon Flake; several great-grandchildren and by one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Ilene Holmes and Faye McLaughlin both of St. Louis, Mo.; and by numerous relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, John and Zoah Nausley, two husbands, Edward Doll and Richard R. Flake; one grandson, Cody Lane Flake; one brother and by five sisters.

Memorial Service: 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls

Visitation: one hour prior to the service.
