Bonnie Isaacson, 75, of Underwood, died Monday, June 12, 2023, in her home.
Bonnie Rae Isaacson was born on March 29, 1948, in Litchfield, Minnesota the daughter of Carl and Adele (Burgstahler) Leih. She attended Rural School District #24 in Maine Township and graduated from Underwood High School in 1966. She moved to Minneapolis and was employed with Honeywell.
Bonnie Rae and Andrew Isaacson were married on September 9, 1967, in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Barrett, Minnesota. They lived on a farm by Barrett for two years and she worked at the Barrett Nursing Home, then moved to Columbia Heights for two years, and in February of 1971, they moved to Breckenridge. In 1976, they moved to a farm in Maine Township and dairy farmed until 1987. They continued farming until 1996, when they moved to their home on Pleasant Lake. Bonnie was a homemaker raising her family, she enjoyed flowers, and bird, deer and turkey feeding. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church of rural Underwood.
Family; husband, Andrew Isaacson; two sons, Philip (Michele) Isaacson of Dalton and Timothy (Nancy) Isaacson of Bovey; five grandchildren: Benjamin (Miranda) Isaacson, Joseph Isaacson, Lynnae Ryberg, Izabel Isaacson and Remington Isaacson; three great-grandchildren: Adeline Isaacson, Eloise Isaacson and Delilah Isaacson; brother, Garry (Beverly) Leih of Wyoming; and by numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Adele Grindall and Carl Leih.
Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Messiah Lutheran Church of rural Underwood.
Visitation: Friday from 5 to 7 PM, with a Prayer at 6:45 PM, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
