Brandon Moore

Brandon Moore, 22, of Fergus Falls, died Friday, January 19, 2018, at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Brandon Wesley Moore was born on May 19, 1995 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the son of Kevin and Mick (Rubink) Moore.  He was baptized in Zion-Sarpsborg Free Lutheran Church in Dalton.  Brandon attended the Fergus Falls Public School and graduated from the Area Learning Center in 2014.

He worked for Service Food in the meat department, then with Fergus Locker and at the time of his death, was a service technician with Nelson Ford.  He was an excellent bike rider and was the master of the bike park.  Brandon enjoyed fishing, especially for catfish, bass, and northern; bowling, golfing, racquetball, video games, snowmobiling, driving fast, and fixing cars.  He enjoyed ice racing and was on his dad’s pit crew at the Underwood ice races and his only pit crew on the dirt track.  He was very proud of his Mixed Martial Arts training.  Brandon was an organ donor and by this gift, he touched five families.

He is survived by his significant other, Lily Callahan and their son, Payton; parents, Kevin Moore, Mick Moore, and step-father, John Ekberg all of Fergus Falls; grandparents, Herman and Mary Rubink of Underwood;  three siblings, Jessica Aasen of Brunswick, GA,  Joshua (Katie) Rubink of Fargo and Bradley Moore of Fergus Falls; six step-siblings, Jeremy Ekberg of Wheaton, Kayla Ekberg of Breckenridge, Hannah (Abe) Lynch of Wahpeton, Lanae Ekberg of Breckenridge, Naomi Ekberg of Minneapolis and Lilly Ekberg of Breckenridge; and by numerous relatives and friends.  Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford Moore and Sue Matecki.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Life Church in Fergus Falls.

Visitation: Friday from 5 to 7 PM, with a 7 PM Prayer Service with Pastor Ned Eerdmans, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.
