Brenda Clark

Brenda Clark, 57 of Fergus Falls died Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Broen Home in Fergus Falls surrounded by her family.

Brenda Lee Clark was born on August 11, 1960, in Sandstone, Minnesota the daughter of Cecil and Isabelle (Sagmo) Clark.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith.  Brenda attended the Detroit Lakes and Pelican Rapids Public Schools.

She did photography, was the family historian, studied the Bible and had a very strong faith.  Brenda worked in home health and took care of her parents.  After Brenda got to know people she loved to play tricks and had a wonderful sense of humor.  She was good at finding the right gift, for the right person at the right price.  Brenda enjoyed family, loved her nieces and nephews whom she claimed as her own babies, and was known as “Auntie Grandma”.

She is survived by five sisters, JoAnn (Ron) Oras of Tarpon Springs, Florida, Carol (Don) Phipps of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Chris Arntson of Fergus Falls, Eileen (Randy) Kirkwood of Fergus Falls and Lori (James) McWhirter; two brothers, Mel (Vickie) Clark of Henderson, Colorado and Bert Clark of Fergus Falls; sister-in-law, Cheri Clark of Chillicotahe, Ohio; and by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Isabelle Clark; brother, Wayne Clark; sister-in-law, Phyllis Clark; niece, Gracie Van Cleef; nephew, Merle Van Cleef; two great nieces, Jessie Oras and Coral Goulet; one great-nephew, Andy Taylor; and one great-great nephew, Caleb Van Cleef.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Broen Home Light and Life Chapel in Fergus Falls.

Visitation: 5 to 7 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
