Caryl Ruth Krueger

 Caryl Krueger, 83, passed away on November 24, 2024, at Park Gardens Senior Living, Fergus Falls, Minnesota. 

 Caryl Ruth Plant was born on December 16, 1940, in Blackpool England. She was the daughter of Cyril and Ethel (Raggett) Plant. Caryl was educated in the Moston Lane Girls School until the age of 15.

 Caryl was then employed in various positions of advertising and merchandising and as a police woman before she immigrated to the United States in 1967, where she worked in Fargo as a nursing assistant and also as a nanny before returning to England for 4 years.

 On October 6, 1973, she married Marvin Eugene Krueger at the United Methodist Church in Sheldon, North Dakota. The couple resided near Sheldon and later McLeod where they were engaged in farming. They lived at Doran, Minnesota and then moved to Fergus Falls in 1980.

 Marv and Caryl owned and operated an adult foster home for 10 years. Caryl also worked at the D.A.C as a program assistant from 1990 to 1995. She also worked at the Kessel Group Home for several years.

 Marv and Caryl enjoyed camping over the years at various locations. They enjoyed going for drives to visit friends and family.

Caryl was a member of the Woodland Baptist Church of Fergus Falls.

 Caryl was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Ethel, and her husband of 50 years Marvin Krueger.

 Caryl is survived by her sister Brenda (Geoff) Gill, brother Roger (Shirley) Plant, sister-in-law Alice Marie Krueger, many nieces and nephews, and many very dear friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, December 2, 2024, at 11:00am with a visitation at 10:00am, at Woodland Baptist Church in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
