Christopher H. Limmer, 47, of St. Albans, West Virginia, formerly of Perham, MN, died on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
Christopher Herbert Limmer was born on August 30, 1967, to James and Rose (Hammers) Limmer in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. In 1978, he moved to Ottertail, MN, where he attended High School and resided. After graduation, Chris enlisted in the Air Force. Chris worked a few different jobs before being employed as a trucker.
Growing up in the lakes country, Chris developed a love for the outdoors. He spent many hours swimming, water skiing, fishing, and learning about the natural habitat. He enjoyed camping with family and friends throughout Minnesota. He had a special interest in riding motorcycle, and competed in several races.
At age 26, Chris invited Jesus to come into his life. He was very enthusiastic about his faith, and shared it with many others.
In 2013, Chris moved to St. Albans, West Virginia where he resided until 2015. On February 19, 2015, God very suddenly took Chris home to live eternally with him.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother.
Chris is survived by his parents, James and Rose Limmer; a sister, Julene (Greg) Boedigheimer; a nephew, Marcus Boedigheimer; a niece, Brooke Boedigheimer all of Perham along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Northwoods Assembly of God Church in Perham, MN with a memorial gathering one hour prior to the memorial service.
Interment: Perham City Cemetery
