Corrine Fjosne, 85, of Ashby, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota.
Corrine was born March 10, 1927 in Ashby, Minnesota, the daughter of Casper and Thea (Haarstad) Holte. She attended school through the eighth grade. In December of 1945 she was united in marriage to Lyle Hilden. The couple made their home on a farm in rural Ashby where they farmed until 1968 when they moved to Fergus Falls. Corrine worked at the Ashby nursing home while attending school to be an LPN. She then went to work at the Regional Treatment Center in Fergus Falls as an LPN where she worked until her retirement. Corrine was united in marriage to Norman Fjosne on September 17, 1988. In April of 2010, she became a resident of Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo. Corrine and her family were very appreciative of the loving care she received from the residents and staff there.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Rock Prairie Lutheran Church.
Corrine is survived by her children, Steve (Cindy) Hilden of Virginia, MN, Cheryl Hilden (Arlan Ehrich) of Oregon, Paul Hilden of Berlin, NJ and Carol Hilden (Steve Harles) of Fergus Falls; eight grandchildren, Lesa (Jeff) Leabo, Michael (Chasity) Rude, Stephanie Rolf, Robert Petersen, Daniel (Jennifer) Hilden, Brice Triepke, Jessica and Justine Hilden; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler and Kaylee Leabo, Jordan Rude, Allison, Olivia, Hailey and Zoey Hilden; sister-in-law, Marion Holte of Ashby; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her daughter, Diane Lehn; her siblings, Palmer, Anna, James, Louise, Cora Olinda, Cora, Gilma, Ella and Emil.
Funeral Services: 1 PM, Monday, October 22, 2012 at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls with visitation one hour prior to the service
