Delores A. Moe, 77, of Battle Lake, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls.

Delores Ann Moe was born on November 26, 1933 in Windom, Minnesota the daughter of Walter and Emma (Tisdahl) Johnson. She was baptized and confirmed in the First Lutheran Church in Windom and attended the Windom Public School graduating from the Windom High School in 1951.

Delores and Robert Moe were married on June 15, 1952 in the First Lutheran Church in Windom. After their marriage they lived in Windom where she had worked with the insurance agency of the Windom State Bank, as a bookkeeper for Lockwood John Deere, a librarian for the Windom Area Middle School and then was a real estate agent for the Henry Real Estate. In 1991, Bob and Dee retired to their home on Otter Tail Lake and for the past three years have lived in their apartment in Battle Lake. Dee loved to golf, she and Bob golfed couple tournaments throughout southern Minnesota. She enjoyed sitting with Bob on their deck looking over Otter Tail Lake, Dee was a good cook and liked to entertain and she loved being with her family and especially enjoyed the grandchildren. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Battle Lake and was active with her circle.

Dee is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Danny (Denise) Moe of Wichita, Ks. and Tim (Cindy) Moe of Brainerd; six grandchildren, Nicole (Michael) Green of Derby, Ks., Kristin (Jared) Rausch of Haysville, Ks., Leslie (Bill) Robertson of Wichita, Ks., Joe (Tonya) Coalwell of Breezy Point, Bailey (Tyler) Sweet of Nisswa and Elizabeth Moe of Duluth; nine great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Ally, Collin, Bella, Garrett, Reece, Brooke and soon to be Baby Theo in October. She was preceded in death by her parents and by two sisters, Margie Mathison and Arlene Holland.

Funeral Services: Monday, August 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at First Lutheran Church, Battle Lake

Visitation: Sunday from 4-7 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Battle Lake and one hour prior to the service at the church

Clergy: Reverend Jake Dyrhaug

Interment: First Lutheran Cemetery in Battle Lake
