Dorothy McNulty, 85, of Battle Lake died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
She was born May 20, 1926 at Park Rapids. She grew up and received her education in Park Rapids. On November 30, 1947 she was united in marriage to her hometown sweetheart, Lee Blair McNulty. The couple made their home in St. Louis Park where they lived until retiring in the early 1990's. They then moved to Leo's parents' home on Ottertail Lake.
Dorothy had an active social life. She & Leo enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Hawaii. They attended many conventions through Leo's work. Dorothy enjoyed dancing, going to the casino, cooking, hosting family get-togethers, watching birds and spending time with their dog, Button.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Leo of Battle Lake; daughter, Vicky Carmona-Munoz of Battle Lake; grandchildren, Shawn Striebel; Michael Parno, Venessa Salinas, Adrian McNulty, Daniel McNulty and Stacia McNulty and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Linda Cooper and 8 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services: 2:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2011 at St. James Catholic Church in Maine Township
Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the church
