Douglas Wagstrom, age 78, of Fergus Falls, died Friday, December 24, 2010 at Pelican Rapids Good Samaritan Center in Pelican Rapids
Douglas Herbert Wagstrom was born February 27, 1932 to Rudolph and Clara (Fretland) Wagstrom in Pelican Rapids. He was only 3 lbs. 12 oz. at birth. Douglas was baptized and confirmed at Maplewood Lutheran Church. He attended District #244 School, which is grandfather built, in Maplewood Township. Douglas farmed with his family and attended WPA workers school.
In 1977 he began working at the Fergus Falls Regional Treatment Center as a janitor and kitchen assistant. He retired in 1994 after 16 years of employment. Douglas enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
Douglas is survived by his brother, George (Alice) Wagstrom of Fergus Falls; one nephew, Brian; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
