Duane Clear, 64 of Fergus Falls died Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Fergus Falls.
Duane John Clear was born February 16, 1949 in Wadena, Minnesota to Richard and Mary (Albrecht) Clear. He was educated in Minneapolis Schools. Duane lived in Sebeka, Minneapolis and Fergus Falls areas. He worked at the Post Office and as a farm hand. He served in the US Navy at Pensacola, Florida from February 1969 to November 1971. Duane enjoyed fishing, camping and visiting with everyone.
Duane is survived by his daughters Michelle (Eric) Zupancic of Dearborn Heights, MI, Tammi Clear and April Clear both of Fergus Falls; seven grandchildren, Nathaniel, Vicki, Bethany, Melissa, Susan, Kristen and Phillip; siblings, Rheta Nelson and Bobby Nelson, Minneapolis, Leona Hinckley of Washington, and Diane Calvert Panama City, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, some aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services: 12 Noon, Saturday, November 2 at Zion Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls
Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the church

Interment: Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis
Military Rites: Minnesota National Guard
