Emma Louise Simon, daughter of Glen and Sethrena (Stigen) Simon, was born at 5:32 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls.
Emma's family was blessed with almost an hour with her before she went to her heavenly home and was greeted by her uncles, Jeffrey Simon and John Stigen, who shared the same birthdate; great grandparents, Wilfred and Margaret Simon, Leo and Verena Kirsch, Ivan and Helen Stigen, and Ralph and Louise Skistad; and honorary aunt, Tami Pederson.
Though Emma spent little time with us, she will forever be held in the hearts of her parents, Glen and Rena, of Fergus Falls; grandparents, Richard and Mary Simon of Brainerd, formerly of Underwood and Detroit Lakes, and David and Noreen Stigen of Fergus Falls; uncles and aunts, Allan (Trista) Simon of Underwood, Christie Simon of Fargo, Nicky (Becky) Simon-Burton of Bloomington, Jeremy (Sarah) Stigen of Hawley, and Laurissa (JT McGuiness) Stigen of Fergus Falls; and cousins, Andrew, Zachary, and James Simon, Izaak Simon, Jeffrey Simon-Burton, Samuel and Elsa Stigen, and Ethan and Colter McGuiness.
Service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls with Reverends Tom Peterson and Troy Tysdal officiating. Interment will be at South Friborg Cemetery in rural Carlisle. Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls is in charge of arrangements.
