November 9, 1923 — January 31, 2016

Fern Haukos, 92, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, at PioneerCare in Fergus Falls.

Fern Jennie Bendhardus was born November 9, 1923 in Star Lake Township, the daughter of Augustinus and Jennie (Huggett) Benhardus.  She graduated from Pelican Rapids High School and went on to attend Northwestern Bible College.

She is survived by a son, Shelby Haukos of Elbow Lake; a daughter, Sheila (Harold Holden) Haukos of Osakis, MN; a sister, Bessie Anderson of Minneapolis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
