Rockswold, Gordon Alvin MD 76 of Henning, passed away unexpectedly on 08/13/20. Born in Crookston, Dr Rockswold graduated from Henning HS, St. Olaf College, and class of '70 at U of MN med school. Former peace corps member and retired ER physician, Gordon was passionate about international medicine and helping the underserved. He invested his time in numerous mission trips around the world, particularly Kenya. He sponsored several refugee families, and facilitated prison ministries. Gordon enjoyed living on the lake, playing guitar, church involvement, and family time. Preceded in death by parents, E. Palmer & Myrna, and stillborn son, David. He will be deeply missed and survived by wife Kate; children Erik (Heidi) & Beth (Jordan) Pearson; stepdaughter Sarah; grandchildren Ethan & Dylan; and brothers Gaylan, Grant, Gary, & their families.
