Gregory Pederson

Gregory V. Pedersen, 51, of rural Underwood lost his battle with cancer on Friday, September 17, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born July 7, 1959 in Underwood to Vernon and Delores (Selleck) Pedersen. He grew up in Underwood and graduated from Underwood High School . He worked at various jobs, most recently with Speedy Delivery and Sara Lee Bakery. In June of 1990, he was united in marriage to Minerva Pederson. Greg enjoyed working on cars and playing with his Basset hounds. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Minerva of Underwood, their children: Sarah (Jimmy) Pedersen of St. Paul, Holly (Chris) Pedersen of Hugo, Janie (Kris) Anderson of Fergus Falls, Mary Rios Santana of Spring Hill, FL, Josh, Zach and Chelsie Pedersen of Underwood; his parents, Vernon (Marcella) Pedersen of Deer Creek and Delores Pedersen of Fergus Falls; a sister, Jolene (Jeff) Karlstad of Fergus Falls; three brothers: Bruce Pedersen of Fergus Falls, Rick (Andrea) Pedersen of Perham and Al (Anne) Pedersen of Pierpont, SD, and his grandchildren: Kaden and Ethan, Sevren and Zayda, Skyler, Abbigail and Taelor, Matthew and Julianna. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie and Ida Pedersen and Freida Selleck.
