Janice Forer

Jan Forer, 81 of Fergus Falls, Minnesota died Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Barrett Care Center.

Janice (Jan) Darlene was born March 26, 1940, to Otto and Hilma (Palm) Ganz of Swanville, Minnesota.  She was baptized, confirmed, and married at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Swanville, Minnesota.

Jan married Howard Forer June 6, 1959.  They lived in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and were blessed with two sons and a daughter.  After they divorced in 1979, Jan graduated college and then worked as a copywriter.  She moved to Fergus Falls in 1998.

She joined Trinity congregation in 1999, where she worked with the Banner committee, the Crafters, Sunday School Christmas Pageants, and Vacation Bible Schools.

Jan placed high value on her family, her friends, and her home.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, craft projects, and her garden.

Surviving her are: son, Bradley and his wife, Pam and their children, Elise, Kevin, Jeffrey, Tom, Maggie, and great-grandsons, Jacksen and Carson; son David; daughter Laura and her husband, Steve Griffiths, and their children, William and Lilly; brother, Roger Ganz and his wife, Brenda; brother Robert Ganz and his wife, Diane, and their children, Karen, Paul, and Darren; and many dearly loved friends.

Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1150 W. Cavour Avenue, Fergus Falls, MN.  56537.
