Janyne Carr, 47 of Ottertail died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Janyne Carmen Carr was born on July 14, 1964 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota the daughter of Charlotte Carr. She attended the Fairbault School for the Blind then graduated from the Duluth High School in 1985. After high school she lived in the Minneapolis area where she was employed as a Lab Tech placing name tags on vials. She moved to Bluffton in April of 2006 living with Karen and Myron Ingebretson on Little Pickerel Lake where she enjoyed fishing and sitting on the dock. Janyne also liked crotcheting, telling off color jokes, shopping, and her dog, Paco and her cat, Biker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, her nieces and nephews and with Karen and Myron, their children and their grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Carr of Vining; two sisters, Deneice (Jerry) Stewart of Vining and Mary (Allen) Larson of Clitherall; eight nieces and nephews, Tyler Zent, Shane Stewart, Kodie Stewart, Jason Larson, Kendra Larson, Miranda Larson, Mikayla Larson and Marissa Larson; foster parents, Myron (Karen) Inebretson of Ottertail and their children, Sally Ingebretson of Moorhead, Justin Ingebretson of Swanville and Alli (Harley) Jabas of Perham; and their grandchildren, Jacob, Hunter, Colton, Kaleb and Eli Ingebretson and Aurora Jabas; a special friend, Rocky Geiser of Ottertail and by numerous relatives and friends. Janyne was preceded in death by her grandparents, Judith Carr and Perry Carr.

Funeral Service: 2:30 pm Monday, October 3, 2011 at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Battle Lake.

Visitation: one hour prior to the service

Clergy: Reverend Art Johnson

Interment: Trefoldighed Lutheran Cemetery
