Jeanne Marie Fletcher, 60, of Fergus Falls, died on April 7th, 2017.
Born to Lane and Rosann Fletcher (Koep) on March 4, 1957 in Parkers Prairie, MN, Jeanne grew up on a farm near Clitherall, MN and graduated from Battle Lake High School. Soon after, while she was working at Larry's Supermarket in Battle Lake, Jeanne met Paul Jaros. Jeanne and Paul married at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on August 23, 1975, and had three beautiful children.
Jeanne worked for a while at Lake Region Hospital in the Medical Records Department, and then went on to work at Otter Tail Power. While there, she attended Minnesota State University of Moorhead and received her bachelor's degree in 1991. Jeanne put her degree to good use working her way up to the Human Resource Department at Otter Tail Power. In her free time, Jeanne liked to read, watch crime TV shows and travel. She was known to love a good family dinner, especially if her famous grilled cheese and tomato soup was on the menu.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Heidi St. John (Mike) of Duluth, Lisa Pelletier of Fergus Falls, and Michael Jaros of Fergus Falls; six grandchildren; her mother, Rosann Sauck; and her brother Jerry Fletcher. Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Lane Fletcher and her stepfather, Roland Sauck.
Jeanne's greatest accomplishment is the laughter and memories she made with the loving family she left behind.
