Judy Rokes, 59 of rural Clitherall died Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, Minnesota due to many health issues.
Judy Ann Rokes was born on August 22, 1955 in Mount Ayr, Iowa the daughter of Richard and Lola (Warner) Webb. She was raised in Mount Ayr where Judy attended the Mount Ayr Public School.
Judy and Steve Rokes were married on October 26, 1984, in the Battle Lake Alliance Church by Pastor David Baynes, followed by a beautiful honeymoon on the north shore, north of Duluth. After their marriage they lived on their dairy farm by Henning. Judy really enjoyed the farm life and dug right in on the farm, really liked the cows and worked by Steve's side and was a wonderful cook. She also had part time jobs and worked a couple years at the Henning Nursing Home. In 1994, they sold the farm and in 1996, they moved to Onamia, where she worked for Bridgestone Trailer Home Sales. In 2004, they purchased their home by Clitherall. She enjoyed collecting bells, light houses and cookbooks. Judy was a member of the Battle Lake Alliance Church.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; daughter, Angel (Kevin) Aho of Onamia; three step-children, Dale Schroeder of Carlos, Micheal Rokes of Alexandria and Kristine Nelson of Lindstrom; several grandchildren; father, Richard Webb of Clarinda, Iowa; two sisters, Linda (John) Young and Shirley (Jim) Haley both of Villisca, Iowa; one brother, Danny (Paula) Webb of Kellerton, Iowa; sister-in-law, Holly Webb of Villisca, Iowa; brothers-in-law, Tom (Joyce) Rokes of Wadena, David (Shirley) Rokes of Hewitt, Robert Rokes of Henning and Ronald Rokes of Alexandria; and by several relatives and friends. Judy is preceded in death by her mother, Lola Webb; father and mother-in-law, James and Betty Rokes; and by two brothers, Richard and David Webb.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Battle Lake Alliance Church
Visitation: from 5 pm to 7 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 pm at the Alliance Church and one hour prior to the service.
