Kandace Sue Love, 57, of Henning, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024, at her residence after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Her Celebration of Life is planned from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at the lakeside residence of Konnie Love, 23655 Clarissa Haven Drive, Henning, MN, 56551.
There will be a private family service held at 5:30 p.m. at a separate location.
Kandace Sue Love was born April 28, 1967, in Perham, Minnesota, to James and Johanna (Neis) Love. She graduated from Battle Lake High School in Battle Lake, MN, in 1985. After graduation, Kandace attended Fergus Falls Community College.
She moved to Arizona, where she spent several years working in the social service field as a group home manager/counselor. Kandace traveled overseas working as a civilian contractor before returning to the Battle Lake area where she continued her career in office administration.
Kandace had an infectious personality and a huge smile no one could miss. She had a creative spirit that showed in her artistic drawings. Family was everything to her. She had the biggest love for her nieces and nephews. Kandace was a very kind, giving person. She always wanted to make others feel better when they were down. Her huge heart also included all animals, especially her dog, Luna.
Kandace is survived by her mother, Johanna Love; siblings, Karen (Larry) Love-Kugler, Kevin (Judi) Love, Kristy (Jeff) Love-Anderson, Kay (Steve) Love Miletto, Kathy (Brad Latzke) Love, Kory (Beth) Love, Kim (Bill) Love-Hatling, Konnie Love, Karla Love, Kendra (Greg) Love Gack; nieces and nephews, Kaila (Peter), Casey, Kari (Ben), Kristoffer (MacKenzie), Kiah (Matt), Mike (Jenn), Justin (Kristin), Maxwell, Hannah, Nicole (Robert), Kimberly (Eric), Terrin, Alex, Kaia, and Kennedi.
Kandace was preceded in death by her father James and brother Karl Love.
Memorials to Kandace can be sent in way of flowers or donations to the following charities: Knute Nelson Hospice, Humane Society of Ottertail County, or Roger Maris Cancer Center.
