Kathryn "Katie" Isaacson, 101, of Fergus Falls, MN, formerly Minot, ND died Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Pioneer Care Center in Fergus Falls.
She was born on July 25, 1915 in Bone Trail, ND to Joe and Jenny (Zine) Albert. She attended country school. Katie was united in marriage to Glenn Max Isaacson on March 15, 1952. The couple made their home in Williston, ND before moving to Minot in 1960. Katie was employed at Shark's Men's Store as a bookkeeper. She was a long-time employee there, retiring on January 1, 1994. She was also a long-time member of Vincent Methodist Church in Minot. Glenn passed away in 1979.
Katie was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and Elks Club. She enjoyed bowling, playing bridge (where she was a gold member player), playing bingo and cards.
Katie moved to Minnesota in 2011 and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children: Cyndi (Ed) Klaers of Bloomington, MN, Greg Isaacson of Yuba City, CA and Kittie Herigstad of Westford, PA; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law: Marlene (Ron) Holden of Minot; two sisters: Martha Bush and Betty Harlem and a brother, Johnny (Michelle) Albert all of California and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Douglas, one grandson, Dale Mothershed, three brothers, Eli Albert, George Albert and Mike Albert, one sister, Mary Cook and one sister-in-law, Lorene Albert.
