Kristian "Stan" Kristiansen

Kristian "Stan" Kristiansen, 82, of Fergus Falls died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his residence.

Kristian Stanley Kristiansen was born March 1, 1936 to Idar and Ingeborg Kristiansen in Kristiansand, Norway.  He grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in Fergus Falls, then graduated from Northeastern Bible College in New Jersey and Lutheran Brethren Bible College in Fergus Falls, MN.  He married Ellenor Abrahamsen in New Jersey and they moved to Fergus Falls.  They had two daughters, Karin and Mary Ann.  Kris worked as a carpenter until his health failed.  He was Troop 308 Scout Master for many years and enjoyed the scouts.  He loved the outdoors and hunting and fishing.

Kris is survived by his former wife, Ellenor, daughters Mary Ann Kristiansen, Karin Boom and her husband Dwight and; granddaughters Kari Fischer and Annika Kristiansen as well as his sister, Solveig (Sue) Hansen and brother-in-law Olaf (Howie) Hansen; brother-in-law Harald Justnes, brother Ingvald Kristiansen and many nephews and nieces and their families.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Arnold Kristiansen and sister Nancy Justnes.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Fireside Room of Bethel Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.

Reverend Ed Monson will officiate.
