LaNore Hanson, 79, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Broen Home in Fergus Falls.
LaNore Berdella Hanson was born November 13, 1932 to Ernest and Peggy (Pederson) Schoon in Verona, ND. She lived in Fergus Falls with her parents and five brothers and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1952. LaNore was united in marriage to Reynold Hanson on October 10, 1953. The couple made their home near Amor where they farmed. LaNore worked at S&L Department Store and Bostwick's for over 30 years. They adopted three children, Rick, Vicki and Kristi. In 1979, they retired from farming and moved into Fergus Falls. In December 2010, she and Reynold both moved from Mill Street Residence to the Broen Home.
LaNore enjoyed sewing, gardening, craft work and going to garage sales. She also sold Home Interiors and was an Avon representative. LaNore was a loving wife, devoted mother, wonderful grandmother and sister. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Reynold; daughters, Victoria (Felix) Hanson-Farrar of Fergus Falls, Kristie Sutton of Moorhead; son, Richard Hanson of Fergus Falls; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; five brothers; Ervin (Ellen) Schoon of Underwood, Gary (Alice) Schoon of Henning, Jim (Judy) Schoon of Fergus Falls, Bill (Beverly) Schoon of Erhard and Keith (Bonnie) Schoon of West Fargo, ND. LaNore was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Lakeland Hospice or Humane Society.
Funeral Services: 11 AM Friday, April 27 at Broen Home Light and Life Auditorium, Fergus Falls
Visitation: 4-7 PM, Thursday at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Fergus Falls with a prayer service at 6 PM - and one hour prior to the service at the Auditorium
