Leola E. Lother, 80, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls.
Leola Erlene Lother was born May 4, 1931 to Roy and Frieda (Boeder) Lother near Jewett Lake. She attended Washington High School and graduated in 1950. Leola worked at the Normandy Café from June 1950 to June 1958 and the J.C. Penney's from June 1958 until retirement in June 1993 after 35 years of service. She was a lifetime member of First United Church of Christ. Leola liked to crochet, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, bowling and fishing. She was a fan of the Fergus Falls Red Sox and Minnesota Twins.
Leola is survived by her sister, Janice Wold, her aunt Elsie Stroschien and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Steven Wold.
Funeral Services: Friday, August 19, 2011 at 2 PM at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls
Visitation: Two hours prior to the service at the funeral home
