On June 15, 1938, Malva was married to Arnold Andrew Iverson at the church parsonage by Reverend Joseph Melby.
They had one daughter, Marlene.
She was a homemaker and worked alongside
Malva was a lifelong member of
She enjoyed being on the tractor in the field, gardening, sewing, doing word-find puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Marlene (Claire) Novotny of Dalton; three grandsons, identical twins, Mark Schroeder and Matthew (Danielle) Schroeder both of Dalton and Ricky (Kim) Schroeder of Evansville; four great-grandchildren, Laila, Bradley, Austin and Kerstyn; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Arnold on July 9, 1996. Malva was the sole surviving sibling of her family of seven children, Mabel Nelson, Josie Jacobson, Hazel Veaason, Arvilla Helle, Chester Johnson and Ethel Bystol.
Visitation: Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. with an 8 p.m. prayer service at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church
