Mary Beyer, 59, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Broen Home in Fergus Falls.
Mary Kay Beyer was born August 29, 1958, in Wheaton, Minnesota to Norman and Dorothy (Frolich) Doll. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wheaton. Mary attended school in Rosholt and White Rock. South Dakota.
On February 23, 1985, she married Lenard Beyer at St. John’s Lutheran Church. They lived in Wheaton and in 1992, they moved to their farm in St. Olaf Township of rural Battle Lake. Lenard died April 16, 2009, and Mary moved to Dalton and then Fergus Falls. She worked many years at Traverse Nursing Home in Wheaton, then with the Pelican Lake Care Center in Ashby and then was employed with Big Chief Restaurant by Fergus Falls. Mary was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church of White Rock, St. John’s Lutheran Church of Wheaton and then Bethel Lutheran Church of rural Battle Lake.
She enjoyed Bingo, her dog Buddy, she liked visiting with people and her years at the Page House. Mary enjoyed family and especially loved her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by five siblings, Kathy Snyder of Fairmount, ND, Robert Doll of Wheaton, Joyce (Sherwin) Busche of Harwood, ND, Brian Doll of Fergus Falls and David Doll of Breckenridge; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services: 2 PM, Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls with visitation one hour prior to the service.
