Mary Anna Seifert, daughter of Otto and Mable (Freeman) Seifert, was born November 8, 1923. In 1927 she moved with her family to Barrett. Mary was confirmed at the Lien Church.

Mary attended school in Districts 32 & 14 in Grant County, secondary in Barrett and High School in Glenwood graduating in 1946. Mary is survived by her sister Arlene Ohren of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Art Seifert, one sister Martha Dahlseng, an infant brother and sister, sister-in-law, Sharron Siefert and brothers-in-law, Maynard Dahlseng and Lowell Ohren.
