Maxine O. Johnson, 94, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Broen Home in Fergus Falls.
Maxine Olive Johnson was born on October 26, 1922, the daughter of Andrew J. and Maude (Parsons) Rawlings. She attended the public schools of LeSueur County.
Maxine and Alan Johnson were married on October 19, 1942 in the Episcopal Church in St. Peter, MN. They lived in southern Minnesota in the St. Peter area until moving to Fergus Falls in 1961.
Maxine is survived by three sons, Craig (Nancy) Johnson, Walter “Tud” (Diane) Johnson, and Mark Johnson; four grandchildren, Tim Johnson, Theresa (Randy) Buhl, Justin Johnson, and Chad (Rebecca) Johnson; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Benjamin, Addison, and Gage.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan; her parents, Andrew and Maude Rawlings; a grandson, Clint Johnson; and by two brothers and three sisters.
A private graveside service will take place near Ottawa, Minnesota, at a later date.
