Myrtle Wait

Myrtle Luella Wait, 96, of Fergus Falls, died peacefully in her sleep on May 28, 2013 at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.

Myrtle was born in Wegdahl, Minnesota to Oscar and Anna (Sandberg) Christianson on November 29, 1916. She resided and attended school in Granite Falls, MN. Myrtle married Ralph O'Dell Wait in New York Mills, MN July 29, 1939. Ralph and Myrtle lived in Fergus Falls. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Elk's in Fergus Falls. Myrtle enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Twins, collecting stamps, gardening and keeping up with family and friends.

Myrtle is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Ralph, her parents, Oscar and Anna, a brother Harold Christianson, and a daughter, Jacqulyn (Jackie) Dorsey.

Myrtle is survived by her children, Laureli Fitzgerald of Texas, Margaret (Richard) Klestinez of Texas, Roy Wait of Fergus Falls, son-in-law Robert Dorsey, Sr. of Fergus Falls, grandchildren Renee Wood of Texas, Pat Rousseau of Texas, Robert (Sarie) Dorsey Jr. of Fergus Falls, Patrick (Carrie) Dorsey of Fergus Falls, great-grandchildren Amanda (Jacob) Dulany of San Diego, Sarah Stevens of Fargo, Keri (David) Schreiber of Fergus Falls, Jacob Anderson of St Cloud and Brittany Dorsey of Fergus Falls, great-great grandchildren Bentley Dulany of San Diego, Alyssa and Haley Schreiber of Fergus Falls and Vanessa Stockinger of St Cloud and numerous friends.
