Olivia Neppl

Olivia Neppl was born on a farm 5 miles northeast of Wishek, ND to William P. and Pauline (Mack) Ebel on February 15, 1923. She was baptized in Wishek and confirmed in Napoleon, ND in June 1936.

Olivia went to a country school northeast of Wishek for 3 years then moved to Napoleon with her mother and sister Thelma. She graduated from Napoleon High School May 1943 and worked in various stores in Bismarck and Linton, ND.

Olivia and Albert Grenz were married March 10, 1946 in Napoleon. They lived in various towns in North Dakota, Wyoming and Minnesota. Olivia married Harold Neppl in Breckenridge, MN on January 13, 1979.

Olivia was a “jack of all trades”, able to fix almost anything. She was a dog lover and groomer, enjoying life and keeping busy.

On Sunday, August 15, 2010 Olivia passed way at the Pioneer Home in Fergus Falls at the age of 87 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; sister, Amanda; son, Graves Grenz; step-sons Kenneth Neppl and Terrance Neppl.

She is survived by her son, Gerald (Joycelyn) Grenz, Rosemont, MN; daughters, Ginger (David) Kropp, Fergus Falls, MN and Garlet Grenz, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Brian Grenz, Stacey (Nate Meath) Grenz, Tim Grenz, Yvette (Scott) Oppegaard, Ben (Lindsay) Graff, Andy (Mandie) Graff, Ashley Graff, Tony and Anna Register; one sister Thelma Narum, Minot, ND; brothers, Benny (Lorene) Ebel, Wishek, ND and David (Vivian) Ebel, Bismarck, ND; step-children, Richard (Marlene) Neppl, Trudy (Ray) Such, Marjorie Polansky, Morris (JoAnn) Neppl, Nila (Wally) Grenz, Timothy Neppl, Jay Neppl, Carol (Paul) LeNoue, Renee (Scott) Rossow, Randy (January) Neppl, many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
