Patricia Baker, 69, of Battle Lake, died December 4, 2013, at Golden LivingCenter, Henning, Minnesota.

Patricia Ann Baker was born on September 27, 1944 in Superior, Wisconsin the daughter of Milo and Emma (Trentor) Lane. She was baptized in the Church of the Ascension in Minneapolis. Patti graduated from high school in 1962 in Superior, Wisconsin then continued her education for two years at the Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis in the Administration Program.

Patricia married Thomas W. Baker on December 30, 1965 at the Church of the Ascension in Minneapolis. After their marriage they lived in Brooklyn Center then North Minneapolis where Patti was employed with the Minneapolis School Board and the Minneapolis City Council. In 2005, they moved to their lake home on Blanche Lake. In her retirement she worked part time for Larry's Foods in Battle Lake. Patti enjoyed fishing, gardening, was an avid reader and especially liked time spent at Blanche Lake.

Patti is survived by her husband, Thomas; son, Bruce Paul Baker of Minneapolis; siblings, Peggy (Rick) Sievi of Minneapolis, Lottie Potter of Superior, WI, Doris Lane of Appleton, WI, Jay (Joey) Lane of Crestview, FL and Tammi (Marc) Jacobs of Superior, WI; Aunt and Uncle Dr. John Salchert and wife Delores Salchert; by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Milo and Emma Lane and a younger brother, Milo Lane.

Funeral Mass: 11 am, Tuesday, December 10, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Battle Lake

Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the church

Clergy: Father LeRoy Schik and Decon Dr. John Salchert

Cemetery: Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Cemetery in Battle Lake
