A Letter to Grandpa

Dear Grandpa,

Faithful. If I could pick one word to describe you, that would be my choice. All my life, I've known you to be faithful to your family, the body of Christ, and to the Lord. Your walk with God has encouraged, strengthened, and comforted me. Grandpa, you know what is true, and you hold fast to it. I will always look up to you for that. Thank you for loving me as I grew up and matured, and for instilling in me a deep devotion to ice cream. Most of all, thank you for teaching me that the Lord is worthy of my life, no matter where it takes me or what it costs.

All of the people gathered today have been touched by you in some way. What a testament that is to how well you love people, and to the Father's love for us.

Thank you for being a great grandpa. I look forward to worshipping our Lord together for all eternity, where where we can eat all the ice cream we want :).

See you soon,

Casey
