Richard Orris Hauge

Richard O. Hauge, 66, of Erhard, died on June 1, 2024, at his residence. 

Richard Orris Hauge, born on April 11, 1958, in Fergus Falls, MN. He was the son of Kermit Sr. and Janet (Brown) Hauge. Richard graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1976 and held various jobs, from West Central Turkey to the Ottertail County Fairgrounds, and Medallion Kitchens. He had a passion for working on cars and loved his dogs, always having a four-legged companion by his side.

Richard is survived by his three siblings, Cindy Wegscheid of Pelican Rapids, MN, Kermit (Ramona) Hauge of Dent, MN and Bethany (David) Portz of Twin Valley, MN along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Sr. (Janet) Hauge and brothers, Dennis Prince and Mike Hauge.  Richard will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Salvation Army Chapel, 622 E. Vernon Avenue, Fergus Falls, MN, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment: Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Fergus Falls, MN
