Robert Randolph Nilson of Sioux Falls, SD, died at his niece's home in Minnesota on Saturday, December 10, 2011.
Robert was born on May 16, 1952, and grew up in Alcester, SD. He entered the navy in 1970 and after returning from the service, resided in Sioux Falls. In 2009 Robert retired from the United States Post Office after 30 years.
Robert is survived by brothers Bruce (Gloria) and Thomas (Janet); two nieces and a nephew, Jody (John) Dickey, their children Maggie and Jack; Holly (Wade) Noack, their children Ian, Ali, and Abby; and Bret (Junko) Nilson, their children Benton and Keenan.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in Alcester, SD.
