Roberta Bettermann

Roberta Bettermann, age 69, of Battle Lake , MN died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Lake Region Hospital .

Roberta Ann Bettermann was born November 13, 1940 to Fay and Rose (Kolb) Adams in Robbinsdale , MN . She graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1958.

Roberta was united in marriage to Kenneth L. Bettermann on October 27, 1960. The couple made their home in Brooklyn Center . She worked as an accountant for a few years in the Twin Cities. In 1988 they moved to Battle Lake , where they had a home on the lake. The couple moved into Battle Lake in 1994.

She was an avid flower gardener, collected Dept. 56 Snow Village, enjoyed deer hunting with her family, bowling, traveling, ice fishing and snowmobiling. She especially enjoyed her granddaughters and time with her family.

Roberta is survived by her husband Kenneth of Battle Lake; her son Brian (special friend Renate Marquette) Moorhead ; two grand daughters, Brittney and Tiffany Bettermann.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry.
