Rocky Cocl

Rocky W. Cocl, 75, of Franklin, MN formerly of Fergus Falls, MN passed away on March 28th, 2021 at Franklin Nursing Home.

Rocky was born on February 27th, 1946 to George and Louise (Finzell) Goodendorf. He attended high school in Little Falls, MN where he excelled at basketball and he later went on to earn a college degree in Oregon. After college Rocky pursued his career as counselor. He was a very well read and intelligent man. Rocky enjoyed many different hobbies throughout his life, some of which include poetry, writing, tennis, and music. Rocky referred to himself as being quite the musician.

He is survived by his niece, Tammy (Jayson) Mueller of Fergus Falls; nephew, Todd Goodendorf of Fergus Falls; sisters, Lydia (Jim) McCool of Washington, Patty (Mike) Barker of Oregon, Anne (Jim) Donato of Illinois; brothers Gerry (Lynn) Goodendorf of Georgia, and Kevin Olson of Georgia. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rocky was preceded in death by his parents George and Louise (Finzell) Goodendorf; siblings Peter Goodendorf, Kim Olson, Diane Olson, and a childhood brother.

Interment: Kinkead Cemetery, Alexandria, MN.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home of Fergus Falls.
