Sharlet Taufen, 68 of Alexandria, formerly of St. Cloud, died Saturday, August 3, 2013.
Sharlet Jean Taufen was born on June 8, 1945 in St Cloud, MN to John and Viola Kramer. She married David Taufen on September 5, 1963. Sharlet was a foster parent for 19 years. She enjoyed shopping, crafts and NASCAR, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Sharlet was preceded in death by parents, John and Viola; the love of her life, David; her son, Judd; sisters, Shirley and Elsie; and brothers, Hilbert, Leland and Phillip.
Sharlet is survived by daughter, Sheri (Michael) Miller; son, Todd Taufen; daughter, Amy (Paul) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Ashley, Brady, Bryce and Brittney; and her brother, Orville Kramer.
