Shirley Myrbo

Shirley Myrbo, 89 of Battle Lake died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls .

Shirley Sandin Myrbo was born January 23, 1922 in Clitherall Township of rural Battle Lake, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Holo) Sandin. She graduated from the Battle Lake High School and attended business school in Fargo .

Shirley and Russell Myrbo were married May 28, 1945 in Battle Lake . Shirley was a lifetime resident of Battle Lake and worked for the GTA Elevator, McCabe Brothers of Perham, First Lutheran Church and then with the U. S. Post Office, both in Battle Lake .

She is survived by one brother-in-law, Calvin (Thelma) Myrbo of Arcadia, FL; sister-in-law, Muriel Myrbo of Fergus Falls ; several nieces, nephews and their families; and special friends, Bump and Geri Sawyer and family.
