Steven Lavern Wagner was born on October 21, 1956 in Fullerton, Nebraska to Lavern and Helen Wagner. When Steven was two years old his family moved to Ashby, Minnesota where his parents owned and operated the Wagner Lakeview Resort for many years. He attended the Ashby Public School. On February 23, 1980 Steven joined the United States Army. He lived in several different states throughout the years and was living in Franklin, MN most recently. Steven died on January 1, 2013 at the Glenwood Retirement Village in Glenwood, MN.
He is survived by his children, Steven and Chad, and by his brother, Ron Wagner (Mary) of Alexandria, MN, and sisters, Linda Czyz (Frank) of San Jose, CA, Cathy Wagner of Elk River, MN, Karen Schultz (Keith) of Garfield, MN. and Lori Schultz (Rodney) of Alexandria, MN.
No services will be held.
Interment will be at the Pelican Lake Cemetery at Ashby, MN.
