Susan was the best Mom and Granny to her children and grandchildren. She was always there when any of her children needed her and never hesitated to lend a hand. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished the moments where everyone could gather. She enjoyed cooking for her family and was always amazing at it. During holidays she would make up a grand smorgasbord that could feed the entire family for the next week. She always made sure that everyone had something to enjoy even if they were a picky eater. She held a special tradition of making Sunday brunch for her family every week and served pancakes that couldn’t be beat.
Susan enjoyed reading, crochet, and quilting. Her quilts are truly works of art. She filled her family’s homes with many beautiful quilts that she liked to say were hugs from her. She enjoyed going to quilt shows with her husband and picking out fabrics for her next project. She enjoyed making the yearly Halloween costumes by hand for her children and grandchildren. She had a creative soul and produced many beautiful things. She enjoyed watching ghost programs and cooking programs on TV.
Susan was a wonderfully compassionate role model for everyone that knew her. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and accepted everyone without judging them.
Susan shall be missed by everyone that knew her and will be in all of our hearts.
