Tamela "Tami" Gadow, 54, of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at her residence under the care of her family and Lakeland Hospice.
She was born July 2, 1958 in Breckenridge, MN to Elmer and Margaret (Berg) Lerbakken. She grew up in Breckenridge and graduated from high school there in 1976. After graduation, Tami moved to Washington State where she was employed by Boeing and 3M Corporation. In 1981, she moved back to Breckenridge where she was employed as a robotic welder at Wil-Rich. She moved to Fergus Falls in 1990. Tami worked for West Central Community Services for several years. On May 1, 1999, she was united in marriage to Marty Gadow at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls by Pastor Domke.
Tami enjoyed woodworking, embroidery, baking, writing poetry and raising her garden out on her deck.
She is survived by her husband Marty Gadow of Fergus Falls; her children: Love (Randy) Leon of Fargo, ND and Paul Gadow of Fergus Falls; four grandchildren: Kody, Chalin, Maggie and Ruby Leon; three sisters: Ethy (Joe) Doze of Marble Falls, TX, Anita (Duane) Heley of Byron, MN and Candella Lerbakken of Stanton, WA and one brother, Michael Lerbakken of Everett, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Sandra Lerbakken and Darlene Lundstrom; two sisters in infancy; a brother, Sonny Lerbakken and one nephew, Kevin Blanchette.
