Terry Wayne Huseth, 73, of rural Underwood, died Saturday, November 28, 2015, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Terry Wayne Huseth was born on January 18, 1942 in Watonwan County, Minnesota the son of Clarence Carl and Hazel Iola (Setrum) Huseth. He was baptized and confirmed in in the Lutheran faith. Terry went through the 12th grade in Underwood, before joining the US Army and serving his country honorably in the Korean War.
Terry and Joyce Anderson were married on May 18, 1960, in Sisseton, South Dakota where they celebrated fifty-three years of marriage. They made their home in Tordenskjold Township, rural Underwood. Terry was employed with Mark Sand & Gravel for Several years. He then started working for the US Postal Service in Underwood where he was employed for over 20 years before retiring at the age of 63. Terry also owned and operated Stalker Lake Industries, with his wife Joyce, for several years.
Terry enjoyed hunting, playing cards, visiting with friends and riding snowmobiles and his motorcycle in his younger years. Joyce and Terry enjoyed their pets they had over the years, wintering in Las Vegas, Nevada, and loved the time spent with their family, especially their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Tordenskjold Free Lutheran Church.
He is survived by three sons, Brad Huseth of Underwood, Brian (LeAnn) Huseth of Underwood and Bruce (Lorie) Huseth of Erhard; six grandchildren, Monica (Jake) Baker of Waterville, Travis Huseth of Warroad, MN, Samantha(Lance) Dewall of Okabena, MN, Dakota Huseth of Underwood, Haley Huseth of Fergus Falls and Mason Huseth of Erhard; three great-grandchildren, Kaden and Brecken Baker and Aubree Huseth; two brothers, Rick and Randy Huseth of Underwood; one brother-in-law, Ray (Connie) Anderson of Minneapolis; four sisters-in-law, Janice (John) Noplos of Hutchinson, DeeDee Haugen of Elbow Lake, Anita Anderson of Alexandria and JoAnn Anderson of Sandstone along with numerous relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Iola Huseth; his loving wife of 53 years, Joyce Huseth; three brothers-in-law, Dale and Wayne Anderson and Jerry Haugen; and by one sister-in-law, Susan Anderson.
Funeral Services: 11:00 am, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Tordenskjold Lutheran Church in rural Underwood.
Visitation: 4-6:30 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm Wednesday, December 2, at the Glende-Nilson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls - and one hour prior to the service at church.
