Veronica Splittstoesser, 92 of Fergus Falls died Friday, March 8, 2013 at Broen Home, Fergus Falls.
Veronica M. Splittstoesser was born January 16, 1921 in Humphrey, Nebraska to Martin and Mary (Polt) Zach. She moved with her family to Rosholt, South Dakota in 1941.
Veronica married Harold Splittstoesser on May 13, 1961. They resided in the Wahpeton-Breckenridge area where they raised 2 children. Harold died December 12, 1986. She then sold her home and moved to Fergus Falls.
Veronica was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church where she did volunteer work for the church and missions. She enjoyed making beautiful quilts for the needy and her family. In her lifetime she made nearly 3000 rosaries for missions and for church school.

She is survived by daughter, Michelle Splittstoesser of Minneapolis; son, Bruce Splittstoesser of Minneapolis, grandson Christopher Ruport, two great-grandchildren, two brothers: Aly (Marian) Zach of Wahpeton, ND and Leo (Margaret) Zach of Portland, OR; sisters-in-law: Helen Zach of Rosholt, SD, Theresa Zach of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Veronica was preceded in death by her siblings, Andrew (Iona), Sister Martinia Zach, Ig, Ted, Sister Juliann Zach, and Francis.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM, Friday, March 15, 2013, at Broen Light and Life Auditorium
Visitation: one hour prior to the service
